Sitting atop the bluff in Memphis and capturing magnificent views of the Mississippi River, this 3,600-square-foot home combines a contemporary feel with the structural elements of the nearby historic warehouse district. Although the home opens itself up to the River on the west, it is purposefully guarded from the Central Business District to the east through the use of opaque walls and translucent glass that allows natural light in while also providing privacy. The curved roof structure adds character to the design and acts as a screen and filter to the sun while preserving River views.
