Mayor Wharton’s Innovation Delivery Team develops and delivers powerful solutions to major urban challenges. Situated in the mayor's office, the team bring rigorous focus and best-in-class practice to identifying powerful solutions, developing implementation plans and then managing for results. Memphis received a 4.6 million grant this summer from Bloomberg Philanthropies to establish this Team, one of only 5 cities chosen to receive the three-year grant. This program will introduce you to the members of the Team, and the important initiatives that serve as first steps in an innovative strategy that changes how the city approaches job growth and economic vitality.
